Love is in the air at Arista Quartz and Natural Stones, and this year for Valentine’s Day we thought we would write about why we love the stone industry!

No one is better fit to talk about her love for stone than own of our Owners and the Junior VP of the company, Vidya Walia:

“They say once you join the stone and tile industry, you never leave it. When I first heard this, I thought this was just one of those exaggerated statements that people say when they’re trying to talk about how much they love their career path. Either that or it’s generally just a comfortable, steady stream of work. 5 years later, I’ve come to learn that the stone industry really does come with an undeniable gravity that keeps you trapped-but in a good way.

There’s almost a hidden allure and glamour to this sector that isn’t quite obvious on the surface, but the more you become ingrained in it, the more you see just how robust and huge this industry is. The room for growth, innovation, and creativity is almost limitless. And while the opportunity to be able to grow a business in any which way brings excitement and promise for the long run, getting to work alongside exotic stones and diverse characters from all over the world brings another level of awe and wonder to the everyday.”
