Remodeling & Replacing Your Countertops: How to Start
Well Congratulations!
You have made the first step in the right direction in what may seem like a long and complicated process.
Let me be the first to tell you that it’s not- the process really is simple- if you have the right information…
I’d like to start out this segment by what I call:
The homeowners playbook-
Picture this: The cabinets are in, the paint is dry, the floors are done, but you’re still not able to use your kitchen- you still don’t have countertops! What do you do?
How To Get Started With Arista:
Step 1: Check out our inventory page on the website or our instagram to see if there are any colors you like in our current inventory.
Step 2: I recommend calling Arista and seeing if you can speak with one of our expert sales associates. Talk to them about your project, what colors do you like, what did you see on the website that you would like to specifically take a look at, etc.
Step 3: Prepare your samples! Any cabinet doors, paint colors, etc. that will play in the part of finding a countertop. Nothing is too specific!
Step 4: Either make an appointment or walk right in because yes, we take walk-ins!
Step 5: Begin your selection process! Typically, a sales rep will walk right alongside you writing down whatever materials you like (we recommend taking lots of pictures)! Our sales reps like to take things a step further and educate you on the materials itself. We believe that knowledge is KEY in making a firm decision on countertops. At the end of your visit, you should hopefully have a full list of materials that you would like information on!
Step 6: If you have a fabricator you can skip this step, but if not, don’t worry we have you covered. We offer a list of various highly recommended and vetted fabricators for you to choose from! Give one of them a call and let them know that you are interested in getting some quotes! Usually they will come out to your house, take measurements and let you know how many slabs you require.
Step 7: After you finalize how many slabs you may need, feel free to come back into the warehouse for a final selection, or do this over the phone if you so choose.
Final Step: Arista takes care of the rest! After receiving payment, we can hold your slabs in our warehouse in Tempe, AZ for up to 6 months and offer free delivery or pick up to any fabricator or contractor you choose!
Here it is, a simple tips and tricks on how to get your remodeling process started with Arista in Tempe!
